Pauleron,

Intel's q4 won't be much better as they are production constrained.

Due to excessively large die sizes of Celeron and PII's they are producing many more acres of silicon but shipping just as many as Q4 last year.

AMD has much smaller die and with improving yields is not capacity constrained. Therefore AMD has much more up-side capacity for Q4.

AMD's guidance which you choose to ignore with your usual disengenousness was they would ship approx 4.5 M in Q4 up approx. 20% from Q3. They also stated that 75% of units would be 350Mhz and above speed grades with ASP's north of $100.

Don't worry about AMD in Q4 they will ship 5M+ and revenues will be increasing MUCH MUCH MORE than slightly up.

Regards,

Kash
