To All....

I took the liberty of checking with some market-maker friends in the AMZN options pit and was informed that the Nov. 75 call trade you all are looking at was indeed an opening sell-call transaction as they were sold to the crowd. (The crowd bought those calls and bid for more as well, as they were anxious to get in some delta's and gamma....they have been inudated with premium buyers for the past two cycles and are eager to get whatever bullets they can.) The sellers gave up Bear Stearns and DLJ as the offseting clearinghouse. I suspect this was done by the seller to create some real downside protection...IMHO.
We'll see I suppose.
