Paul, if you have a case to make re Intel, go through your scenario for the next few years. Otherwise, there's no point in continuing the one sentence flames. imo, pc growth is about to hit a serious bump in the road at a time when Intel doesn't have a significant technological lead on AMD et al. This could lead to problems for a while, maybe until merced is finished. What Grove would call an inflection point, maybe, because right now the speed of the microprocessor isn't as primary a driving force in the attractiveness of pcs as it was in the past. BUT, I don't follow INTC at all, so you might actually have valid insight.
