Go to ez-pnf.com and select the Max-Pain&#153 Options Analysis page. Once there, you will find the full details and a 'worked-out' example of the Max-Pain&#153 calculation.

Using this morning's CBOE open interest data, which has all of yesterday's activity folded in, the Max-Pain Point&#153 for MU is still at $27.50. However, there is a trough between $25 and $25.70 but FWIW the $27.50 side has a lower value ie more pain.
