OFF TOPIC: Wade, why would you want to write a novel about a bunch of uppity white boat people? The only truly working class guy to ever visit this thread--of whom I'm aware of--got the boot for rough language. Noting your profile, you should know only once have I found an opening to mention Noam Chomskey's name on this thread. But were he here, he too likely would get the boot, but for different reasons. Just like we never get to see him on network television. You know, those news shows and documentaries where only certain opinion counts? I guess what I'm saying is it's not that there aren't really good folk participating on this thread, or the others; it's just that there aren't enough different kinds of 'em! So what would we write about--ourselves? Will the new Zulu help to make the Internet free for people in order to promote lizards and frogs and cane-touting dancing raisin heads? Who knows? And each day we turn the page and then write further.
