Re: "THEY JUST ADMITTED THEY WILL NEED A NEW K7 DESIGN ("later versions") to go after the server or workstation market."

Get a clue, Paul. Did Intel roll out the server version of PII (Xeon) at the same time it introduced PII itself? Or were we stuck using 200 MHz PPros for a few more months?

Kevin

Paul , your tunnel vision is amazing .
Last year you guys said in effect "there is no way will AMD take a large market share" . Well , the latest edition of Business Week shows that you were incorrect .
AMD inside ? YOU BET ! page 48 .
AMD now has the largest share of the retail market sold through stores.
The public has ignored " Intel Inside " .
why? because the major PC cos. want it that way .
Unlike blinkered Intel investors like yourself , they do not appreciate an Intel monopoly ,
Brian
PS read Slaters comments on who is running AMD now .
