Hi John:

I would like to make a comment on Titus 3: 10-11. (I do not want to interrupt where I am not welcome.) Specifically heretic's are mentioned here which are opposed to the doctrine of the church. I have made plenty of statements about the importance of correct doctrine on the one hand and the on the other hand not splitting hairs to the extent that the neglect of ministry takes place.

I am thinking that a differentiation must be made between them and sinners. For example, I have rarely won a sinner to the Lord after only two or three attempts. Also, for example, many Christians feel I am a heretic for many of the discussions I have had on finances on the Jesus and Financial Freedom thread, however in keeping with Titus 3 most have given me the benefit of the doubt and parted without bringing dishonor on the Lords name and leaving me to the devices of the Holy Spirit to correct where necessary.

In Christ.gregor
