More large mutual-fund firms, preparing for the possibility of investors redeeming large amounts of cash should market conditions worsen, are setting up a special procedure to deal with such an onslaught.

Under the procedure, mutual funds that are experiencing heavy redemptions, or "outflows," could borrow from other funds within the same family.

While one month is not a trend, PPI number should take
a little wind out the sails of the "Fed poised to ease" crowd.
Gold up, yen acting schizoid, banks and brokers getting
hit in Japan again last night...why go higher???
