NEW YORK, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Gruntal & Co. LLC
transportation analyst Steve Lewins said on Thursday he cut his
earnings estimates on Boeing to reflect production recovery
delay costs. Says Gruntal had been reporting Boeing's results,
excluding cost of production delays.
-- cut 1998 Q3 EPS estimate to $0.30 from $0.50.
-- cut 1998 Q4 EPS estimate to $0.40 from $0.78.
-- says in the second half, cutting estimates to reflect
lesser production and potential deferals and cancellations.
-- cut 1999 Q1 EPS estimate to $0.40 from $0.65.
-- cut 1998 Q2 EPS estimate to $0.45 from $0.70.
-- cut 1998 Q3 EPS estimate to $0.50 from $1.00.
-- cut 1998 Q4 EPS estimate to $0.65 from $0.90.
