Just heard on CNBC that a top source at M L said they might need to put LTCM in an independent status and sell it, as to unwind the position might take TWO to THREE years!!! Could this mean they have not even begun to unwind it yet? Could all the news concerning: prices of this, positions in that, and values of something else; were mostly hype to soften the blow? rh
