gdichaz, the infrastructures of a (patchy coverage) mobile network and a WLL network are virtually identical.

You forget to mention that anybody with any money or sense goes wireless also in the 3rd world.

So not only you get the bottom countries, but you get bottom segment on those bottom countries AND you have a far superior solution (mobile)competing even in that most non-attractive segment.

There will be business with WLL as well, but if you think about it, its a dog.
