AMSY; Revenues Up 25%; Earnings Up More Than 200% beats
FAIRFAX, Va., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- American Management Systems (AMS) today announced third quarter 1998 revenues of $282.2 million, 25% above the third quarter of 1997, with net income of $14.7 million ($0.34 per share diluted) versus $4.5 million ($0.11 per share diluted) in the third quarter of 1997, a 227% increase. For the first nine months of 1998, revenues were $755.9 million and net income was $35.6 million ($0.83 per share diluted) compared to revenues of $642.6 million and net income of $18.1 million ($0.43 per share diluted) for 1997.
