It would seem that days like today would be good for establishing first thirds in areas I dont have positions yet. What do you think of AMAT/NVLS ? And are you still negative on the financials/druggies ? If so, do you like the indicii or individuals. Thanks

Looks like there has been a major meltup in the financials the last few days. I am not surprised and am considering positions in some of the credit card folks. ie COF and PVN thanks

if Dell's stock price does not keep moving forward, neither do its
eps


I'm not sure I understand why this would be the case. I think DELL
is ridiculously overpriced, but what does the stock price have to
do with earnings? I think that I've heard that they sell puts, so
I can imagine that that component of earnings would be hurt with
some bad stock performance, but I wouldn't guess that this is a
major part of EPS.
