Next round of the Global Poker game - the stakes have increased:

iht.com

It is interesting to note that countries are now threatening each other with Global Bankruptcy or default in this high stakes game.

As everyone knows, in the last few rounds, many of the Asian economies have lost their shirts (and more). They are now in a huddle, most of them shirtless and stakeless except the Chinese and the Singaporeans, figuring out whether to play a combined hand in this next round. Lots of side bets going as well. The Russians are conspicuously absent, having simply walked off with the pot in the previous round, to everyone's stunned amazement. Now they seem to be knocking on the door with their Intercontinental SAMs, and demanding everyone pass the hat and give them a fresh stake so they could rejoin the game....

The Japanese are also in a huddle, with gigazillions of Yen being passed around among themselves, but no one seems to want to be seen left holding the bags......

Watch out for the next exciting round of "The Global Poker Game!!"
