Mark,

You are making an argument while basically ignoring my questions and reflection.

You are assuming that teen age sexuality is just an occurence of modern times? Teen age sexuality has been a fact of life since the beginning of time.

define sexuality.

I would rather have my child educated and knowing the risks, then to not have that education.

So would God, it seems, as the scripture indicates. I posted it once, did you read it? If not here it is again:

Deut. 6:
5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.
7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

What better "education" than to know that God does not approve of adultry, fornication, lying, etc etc. You think God's message was "pass out condoms?"

Is your condom of the month club "better education?"

I disagree that pregnancy and abortion is the next step. It appears that is the exact opposite result, according to the article.

Look at the article again. Who was the biggest decrease? I venture to bet that the same group is also the biggest group that were using abortion as birth control. I agree with you that less pregnancies mean less abortions, that is a given....and I don't express the english language too well, but my point is using this as propaganda to FURTHER sell the condom idea does not make it right. Fornication is still sin, and the BEST MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO AVOID IT IS TOO SAY NO............too idealistic of me? Why not?

You answer that as IF you believed in the Word of God ok? How else could you answer it?

You are arguing from a point of view that says if it feels good do it just make sure to use condoms. World view does not make it right. KNOWLEDGE IN GOD'S WORD AND WILL FOR YOUR LIFE IS THE KEY>>>>not mans knowledge.

Can you not agree that the message we have sent is the WRONG message. If you do not believe it, look at 90%( prob. more) of the shows on TV. How long can you watch TV without sex coming into the picture.2 minutes?

But I guess as long as our kids got plenty of condoms it will be ok, huh? I can't buy it.

Any other posters care to dive in??
