It is clear for everyone (Intel first!) that
this is not true. That is why Intel is
pushing the 0.18 aggressively. They know
that once AMD gets the Alpha-style "short-tick"
design with K7, they are in biiig trouble -
bye-bye their lead in MHz. It rather looks
that it is Intel who lags in both process
AND design technology. IMHO.

Kevin , don't forget that agreement with IBM to augment production.
The K7 would certainly be an appropriate use of that agreement because of the much higher margins .
