DW. Since you like MSFT so much. They are going to eat your YHOO for lunch. Just like they did NSCP and so many others. They all said the same thing, "They will not beat us". Guess what? They beat them all.

Here is an article to chew on. I know MSN has not done well. But Gates will get it right soon.

Microsoft takes on Internet powers - WSJ

NEW YORK, Oct 13 (Reuters) - Microsoft Corp. <MSFT.O> has taken a series of small steps to group its various World Wide Web sites under the MSN.com brand name and added features that make other Internet players so popular, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.

The campaign will challenge the big Internet players, such as Yahoo <YHOO.O>, and it envisions a broader service business that would take advantage of the company's near-monopoly in software, the report said.

The plan converts the Microsoft Network from a conventional online service, which has not been very successful, the report said.

Looking further down the road, Microsoft plans to provide more elaborate business and consumer services over the Internet, according to an internal memo written by company Chairman Bill Gates, the report said.

Gates described the product as a "Megaserver" that would provide the powerful software needed to store and manage a customer's data and that could be accessed from almost any computer, the report said.
