Thanks - yes I know where POS and TM originated. It just seems to be getting a bit out of hand. We wouldn't want to make this thread unintelligble to the unitiated or would we? Lucretius Taurus refers to DELL as "POS" without any numbers. I lost a lot shorting it but recently got about half of that back. It seems like DELL has been tamed. Or maybe I just worked it out. There are good fundamental reasons for the market to go up. Lots of things which looked dire have gone away. People aren't yet paying much attention to next year's earnings though. If Greenspan keeps cutting maybe they won't be so bad either. David
