When was the last time "news" ever moved a Y2K stock??? The sector is dead... stone cold dead. Yeah, sure we'll see some stocks go up a few points, then down a few, but until people stop snickering about Y2K -- despite all the articles that implore us to take it seriously -- about the only gratification we might have is, longterm, knowing we just might have gotten in near the bottom. Small consolation, of course, to many of us who also bought near the top (g).

I know I sound like a broken record, but the only way for stocks like ALYD to move is for them to attract new blood... not us "recycled" Y2K players. This means selling the company to institutions. This means hiring a PR firm that knows how to craft an image tailored for institutions. It doesn't mean putting out flashy news releases that create spikes in the stock by promising glowing revenues in the year 2001.

Yes, I do believe in resurrection as it pertains to the Y2K sector. I do believe that certain Y2K stocks will fly high yet again. But nothing companies like ALYD can say in a press release will cause that to happen, so why expect it? Accordingly, why get mad because of it?

This isn't hype, it isn't bashing, it's just harsh reality... IMO of course (g).
