I think that the Feds would be less likely to lower rates as the equities continue to rise on their own, of course you make a good point that the markets may well be anticipating a rate cut. My guess is that the next meeting will yield another minimal rate cut and the market will probably sell off from its higher level. Still, no big crash.

I also believe that AG would rather raise rates, he's so fearful of inflation. BTW, has any one even looked at the M3 figures, just a bit inflationary, no?
