DELL seems stuck below 55 today... options expiration madness?
It looks like we are going to close at 55 tomorrow. Also DELL and CSCO seem to be moving in lock step over the past hour or so at least, with CSCO 3/16 point above DELL.

<HP>10/15% Of HP's potential customers are lost due to lack of 'support'

TP:

Check this out. No wonder Platt is saying he sees a slowdown in biz by 2nd half of 1999.At this rate he would have lost all the potential new customers to others (hope some of it goes to DELL) in about another 10 quarters,eh?<vbg>

Gartner Group analysts Paul McGuckin and Tom Shipley outlined for Platt their findings that between 10 percent and 15 percent of potential HP customers are lost due to HP's lack of support and consulting services.

"Obviously I'm concerned [about that]," said Platt. "That's something a CEO needs to be worried about."
