Conac opened the Redmond office following several months of research in a U.S. test market. The company's research revealed a definite need for Conac's unique suite of financial and project management software products. The acceptance of Conac's estimating and job cost accounting software in the test market was well beyond expectations. Professional contractors demonstrated a real need for innovative solutions, and Conac's products were widely viewed as a cost efficient alternative. The company's research strongly supported its expansion into the United States. The company has hired Robert Nyman as director of sales and marketing for the new U.S. operations. Mr. Nyman was recruited from the U.S. firm, WinEstimator, one of Conac's main competitors, and has more than 15 years of experience in business development for the high-tech industry. Mr. Nyman's proven skills in strategic and national account management, building customer loyalty and international business will be definite assets.
