I'm all for clearing the air, out in the light of day on these threads.
Since it's imho all about getting to the truth of the matter, and not imho about persecuting those individuals subject to exchange restrictions, maybe clear statements of facts along with scanning/typing in Mining Recorder/court documents, or providing a link to them (likely doesn't exist, eh) would be the civilised way to go. Can anybody do that?

I really don't know much about it, and am quite dispassionate about the whole thing. Just didn't like GC's tone, that's all. In my Perfect World, the involved parties would be free to openly discuss the matter on the thread, but we are dealing with the VSE here, the other end of the spectrum of worlds, so the Doc and TT both must be cautious. Let's not anybody take unfair advantage of that.

Gotta go again .... appreciate your posts, Taz .... check out the US Fed rate drop, report on GPM #reply-6030029 ........ salud ....... marcos

TAZ,
A realist about corporate matters... Lets applaud him for his tack and his true real test for GMD MANAGEMENT.... Remember GMD the word and meaning of Fiduciary: It doesn't mean hide and it will go away??

THE VSE AND THE BCSC have been called and informed about similar questions... I won't be surprised the thing is halted...begins trading at .01.

Lets face it this DITCH will bury us alive and we need concrete answers from some board that hides from the questions. Todays investment environment needs clean deals with concrete fundamentals and disclosures, If you don't have it, your Buried in the DITCH.

GMD has none of the above accept proven property in the Discovery and G-10/J-10 indicators on the Royce.... That's a realistic view of corporate status.

GC

Taz

I appreciate your search for clarity and accuracy. Sometimes posters take a grain of truth and run with it to what they conclude to be the inevitable conclusion. So, as best I can, being as accurate as possible. I've numbered your questions, my answers follow.

1. Are there any third party liens on the Royce group properties? Yes or No?

The answer is no, there are no liens registered on the Royce Group according to the Mine Recorder as of October 15, 1998. There are none that I am aware of.

2. Are these "liens" or "claims" valid and with merit? Yes, No, Maybe?

You added the word claims here. The property consists of mineral claims. I think what you're trying to get at, is whether there is any paper or document of any type that could be construed in any way shape or form as being negative registered on the mineral claims. That is too broad a question for me to answer.
Should there be any filings of any sort, one would have to know what they are, who filed them, and against what contract/payment/obligation and on which property.

3. Do the liens constitute a "material change" as defined by the rules and regulations of the VSE as understood by the company management? Yes or No

You are asking a legal question. I can't answer that, but my opinion is I would think so, but would ask a lawyer this question, and comply with whatever their response might be. As far as the Mining Recorder is concerned, there are no liens on the property, so I suppose this is not an issue.

4. Regardless of the answer to #2 & 3 above, is the company management taking concrete steps to resolve the situation as soon as possible?
Yes or No?

5. Is this matter still in the jurisdiction of the NWT Mining Recorder or has it been referred to the courts?

There are no matters that have been or could be in the NWT Mining Recorder before the courts at this time, nor are there any matters anticipated.

6. What impact will/could this situation have on any shareholders investment in the company? Negative, Positive, or None?

Presumably the lack of any NWT Mining Recorder issue being before the courts, and the lack of any liens on any properties when rumours exist to the contrary could be viewed as positive.

7. If the answer to any of the above questions is "I can't answer because of my position with the company", then recommend who can answer these questions that is also credible, properly informed, and accountable?

I think a better question here might be "If there are rumours of liens and court cases, perhaps the people making these statements can be specific. Can we ask for docket numbers or copies of documents?"

I appreciate you asking these questions so they can be dealt with.

I'm very specific here, because threats of law suites, liens, seizures, actions etc. are, unfortunately, very common. These happen regularly and are too often used as negotiating tactics. If you asked "has anyone threatened, or sent letters to the company, VSE, BCSC, NWT Mining Recorder, etc. claiming mistreatment, breach of contract, unfair practices, or the like, I would have to say although I have not personally seen such documents, I'm sure they exist." You know only too well, this happens. Are these the same as liens or seizures? They most certainly are not.

Should a company report a lien or seizure? You bet. Should a company report the threat a lien or seizure? It would likely depend on the threats potential, but again, I'd probably defer to a lawyer's recommendation.

Dave

To set the record straight, "Ritchie" was never pissed off. And neither is he not a "hapless" optimist. Au conraire, "Ritchie" is an eternal optimist. It's just too bad if that characteristic of "Ritchie" has pissed off anyone.

When you last wrote that the "clock is ticking", you seemed cocksure that GMD is a calamitous explosion waiting to go off. But now it seems you are still unsure of specific details. Enuff said! I leave others to draw their own conclusions. I am probably very biased, but it seems there is a hint of the smell of mischief/rabble-rousing in the air.

As we are very close to the Season of Giving/Gifting, and as you can well afford it, how about flying a planeload of us into Yellowknife soon (to avoid the ass-freezing -50/60 Celsius weather) to look at the Mining Records. To be sure, if the case warrants it, hell will be raised. Don't forget that it takes money to make money! And though it is a pleasure to receive, it is an even greater pleasure to give!!! And remember, you can't take it with you. From Timothy 6, it is said that just as we entered this world with nothing, we are going to depart with nothing, too. And it also says " .....the love of money is the root of all evil." (I suppose the word "Excessive" should precede the word "love").
