Low interest rates have sure pushed Japan to new highs in the last 12 years, haven't they?

But in the immediate term the market should move higher. We shall see.

Well...you could have bought when the Fed lowered rates 200 basis points in the aftermath of the 1929 crash, and lost another 50% of your money over the next few years. A 50 basis point cut isn't going to bail the world out, it's just going to cause stock prices to go higher so they become even more detached from the fundamentals.

The Fed had no business cutting rates today.
