Take a look at the killing nibble traders had with the OEX and
DJX options. The lows for the day were 1/16 to 1/4.

>>>Another Rate cut in the U.S. I got into CM and RYO just after I heard the news and am holding over night. They are already up another buck since the news came out.<<<

Hey Frank

Of course I meant RY (Royal Bank) and CM. This is one of the best trading days I have had in a long time. I saw the DOW shoot up 70 points in 5 minutes. Checked out CNN web site (www.cnnfn.com) to find out what was up. The second I found out the feds had cut rates I checked the charts of the big Canadian banks and saw all of them moving up fast. All asks were getting knocked out as soon as they appeared. I jumped in at market. Within 15 minutes of getting filled both were up over a dollar from were I got filled.

I decided to break the day trading code and held overnight. The news of a Fed cut will sink in to the retail market tonight. Hopefully this will result in people placing market buy orders for tommorrow morning. I'm hoping to get out on an early morning gap up of .50-1.50 on both stocks. Hopefully other people from this thread also benefited from the fed cut.

Ironically enough - my PDG put options expired today. I didn't have the heart to sell them for .01.

Best Regards
KEITH
