Well, there is one's fundamental conviction and then there is one's technical uncle point. As far as I am concerned today was the uncle point. To me, at this point, one can make arguments either way. the bullish case would be that we have seen the bottom amid thick pessimism. This well timed coordinated action by the Fed and its Plunge Protection Team coteries have turned the psychology of the market at large - at least for the intermediate term. The bearish argument would be that this short squeeze would be short lived and we would continue on down - perhaps more gradually as this move could have scared a lot of bold bears (including me!) I just don't know at this point.

Go Tommaso! Holding my equity shorts. Just wish my fingers hadn't blown my attempt to buy OEX puts at the close. I think I'm REALLY going to regret missing those! Guess I should spend the money on typing lessons.

P.S. Keep an eye out for that little guy with the horns, hooves, and flute next few days.
