Hi Maria, I'm afraid that I don't have much good "NEWZ" just yet. I recently reconstructed another net on NEWZ based on tips, advice and observations of several contributors to the Neurostock thread. On backtest it resulted in a very accurate model, but it still leaves a little to be desired. This new NEWZ net(say that 3 times fast)signaled a sell on 9/28/98 and has since been signalling sells and holds. That's why I cashed out the other day. I was hoping(actually drooling) for a buy signal tonight after todays action, but I guess the net is holding out for the "big move" and has signalled yet another hold. If its any consolation though, the net has only a 55% confidence in its own prediction. Actually my last buy-in was against the nets advice. I just couldn't resist. I got lucky getting out on the bounce. Back to watching and waiting...
