>>ALL: Its great news anyway you look at it. <<

Uhhh..yeah, I guess falling revenues around the world count as "good news." I guess continued falling Gross Margins are good news as well. And I guess flat Zip revenue year to year is good too. What a fantastically growing comany. Not.

>>We beat estimates and have done better than the street expected, way better. <<

Way better? By $0.01? Beating the Street by one penny is NOT "Way Better." It's just more Iomaniacs Hype.

>>Zip drives and disks way up, cost cutting better than expected, way better. <<

Zip sales Up? I think not:
biz.yahoo.com
"Third quarter Zip revenue of $279 million was flat with third quarter 1997."

Zip sales are flat year ot year. And unit shipments of a product that is included in less than 5% of computers and registers a mere 39% increase year to year does not indicate a product that can be considered any kind of "Standard."

>>Sure it would of been nice to make .50...<<

Well, it would have been nice for investors if Iomega could register any kind of profit at all. But they didn't. Just another loss. And just think, Sony HiFD and Castlewood Orb are being thrown into the mix this next Quarter.
