Is this a duel between the ghosts of John Winthrop and Roger Williams? I really don't think so, Borzou, and I don't think you really do either. While it is true that the "Talibans" are all arrayed against Clinton, so too are quite a few people who would define themselves as liberals and moderates. They are so disgusted with Clinton (or claim to be) that they don't mind being associated on this particular issue with the far right. Good heavens, even one of the editors of Salon Magazine (which so many here on these threads assume is an Administration mouthpiece) called for Clinton's resignation! Would suggest a more "nuanced" approach to this issue.... jbe
