How do we know that Greeny hasn't done damage to another group of hedge funds who are short US stocks? Because my guess is that they covered on 10/08/98. You know the day the dollar and long bonds got killed ....worse drop in 25 years I believe. That was the opportunity they were given to get out of short positions. Market engineering IMHO. Monty
