**OT** <<James Cramer made a great call>>

Let's give credit where credit is due. <g>

Last week, someone posted a Cramer article from thestreet.com on one of the SI threads. The gist was that the trading goddess (his wife) saw the same signals last week as the week before the '89 crash, and he was advising longs to run for cover. (I don't doubt that he has changed his position several times since then.)

Slide

As a general rule, I just lurk. But I'm on a roll this morning. I just got through filing my tax return(needless to say I took advantage of all the extensions available to me). For what it is worth, I didn't make any money farming, so I sold the farm. I made an excellent gain on the real estate transaction. I was all bent out of shape because thought I was going to have to pay some taxes that I didn't have the current liquidity to cover. If I knew what I knew now, I would've filed in Feb. I didn't owe them a red cent.To make a long story short(I don't want to be called Slide II<VBG>), I think AG's rate lowering was almost criminal. If my memory serves me correctly. About a year ago, AG's comment was that the market had reached irrational exuberance. My point is, why is he trying to prop it up now?

My analysis is that the fed has been blowing smoke up our arse about the state of the economy. I think our economy is in the dumps, and were on the brink of a recession
