You want to know what I think is the real difference between the two? Reagan and his band of merry band tried to cram the whole Moral Majority crap, with a touch of White Supremacy, down the throat of the whole nation. I was but a youngster during the Reagan era--I remember it as a rather ugly time for race relations, religious tolerance, and tolerance of gays and lesbians. Clinton's Christian family values are obviously just a political sham, and his church appearances are obviously shameless photo ops to sucker the gullible. Plus, many of Reagan's friends and supporters were among the Christian right. Clinton's friends are amoral Hollywood types and sleazy lawyers.
