rick -- you are correct. this buy is ok but nothing to jump up and down about as a plus or minus. the big question still to be answered is can they recognize what is needed? so far they have not been able to do that with what they have,,, but with cash they do not have to be good,,, just lucky.

Rick: I guess Mangan's a matter of how one defines strategic and tactical. At the strategic level, it fits TAVA's long standing goal of becoming the nation's "largest independent system's integrator". TAVA has always intended to grow the core business by acquisition. We'll see more acquisitions. If we think of it as growing the lunch bucket aspect of the business by acquisition, and growing the sexier ERP-type aspects internally, it might appear more strategic. Buying sexy expertise that TAVA does not currently have could come with lots of problems - corporate culture clash, etc. where the new guys can just walk. But growing the sexy stuff internally places development in people senior management trusts and knows. There's less chance of mistake. Then again, the next acquisition might be the sexy stuff.
