Hi Hiam,

I was very bearish until today, but this break through 8300 took me by surprise... whats your outlook for the rest of this year?

I agree Haim,,, This was the reason for the mad bulling of stocks the last few days.. Obviously there were some that knew... They couldn't have hit with more precision... Shorts and Putters are not a loved bunch.but they will be looking for us when it's too late...If today was one side of the see saw,, , the other side will be quite the sight..

Great post, Haim! I am disgusted by the blatent manipulation of our "free" market by our government officials - The chief finance official of Hong Kong was on CNBC two days ago saying "Well, your market is manipulated by your government, too..didn't you notice?" WEELLLLLL, now that you mention it...the last few days - even last week - seemed pretty fishy...BUT it sure would have been clearer if AG had called me and told me!!! So now I want to call him...anybody have his email address? I mean it. I want his email address. TIA
Peggy

The 50bp move should have been done in the first place, not 30 minutes before index option expiration.

I could not agree more. Changing the funds rate just before the expiry does not pass the smell test. It's not that the Fed could not postpone the rate cut until Monday.
