mohan, i had a close call with disaster. I put in an order to sell Dell last night being emotionally drained, thinking that another Black Thursday was coming today, and that I would sit on the sidelines until the horrible month of October was over.

Fortunately for me I cancelled the order this morning 15 minutes before the market opened. I saw Dell was going to trade up and some wonderful folks had allayed my fears about a profit margin squeeze. This thread is invaluable.

I think I may have lucked out and actually bought at within 10 minutes of the bottom. God knows I went thru hell and ecstasy that day.

we have earned our profits on this recent ride of fear.

Actually, it hasn't been posted before because the information was just released by the SEC.

What was posted before was information based on a Form 144 which is an intent to sell. This story tells you he followed through with the sale, which he was not required to do when he filed the 144.
