In early '97 I was laboring between two stocks to invest my 'gambling' money. The choices were a rebounding software company (Syncronys Softcorp) at $3.00 and some internet marketing company that I'd never heard of (Amazon.com) at $.62. I went with SYCR that closed at around $.05 today. AMZN closed near 100 bucks today. The difference between a $25K loss and around 4-5 million is something I try not to think about. DAMN!! th
