This is the first time in over four years that the FED has changed rates between official meetings...

It should spark a real rally in overseas markets and increase the probability that any good news released by a company will be well released in this market.

Don't forget the energy sector Ray. I know you won't since you were one of the first to mention it here. The whole sector will look terrific in another six months. Here is something I found at CDA Investnet:

EEX CORP. - EEX -- With their recent activity, insiders at EEX Corp. join the ranks of those accumulating shares across the energy sector. From August 12 through August 27, nine insiders purchased a total of 91,900 shares at $5.06-$6.67 per share. Leading the recent buyers was Chairman, President, CEO T.M. Hamilton purchasing 42,500 shares. Other Officers picking up shares include VP, Counsel Janice Hartrick buying 1,400 shares. EVP, COO David Henderson and EVP, CFO Richard Langdon picked up 5,000 shares apiece. The remaining activity involved company Directors, including Frederick Addy, picking up 15,000 shares in his first purchase since '95. Michael Mallardi and B. A. Bridgewater Jr. each purchased 10,000 shares. Needless to say, while the recent accumulation at EEX clearly supports a sector trend, there are a number of unique factors (i.e., independent of general industry fundamentals and commodity price issues), that might influence the performance, and hence value, of an E&P company. Taken together, the August purchases are by far the largest at the company since '94. EEX Corp. explores for and produces natural gas and oil, focusing on Texas and the Gulf of Mexico.

I think there are better values in the sector but the point is the whole sector is showing insider accumulation. BTW Ray, nice post on that other thread tonight. I agree.
