Yogi, re: all Fed rates are largely symbolic. That's why I'm asking a functional person (like you, who seems to be able to actually make money in this market), what I'm supposed to be doing. I can worry about the symbolism later. Regards, Larry PS: However, I do regard this last rate cut as significant. The market might drop again, but the lows for this year have most likely been set. And I will bet that next year's lows will be higher than this year's lows. (Which is a technical/weaselly way of saying next year will be positive).
