That can happen now if you leave your browser open. Plus, sometimes Netscape remembers your UserId/password even though you close and reopen the browser (due to a bug, it doesn't always fully close...Windows thinks that a copy is still open). Any good cookie system allows the user to Log Out from any page. This removes the cookie from the system so that no one else can login under your name. Because of this, it can actually be a more secure way of handling things.
