Wayne, sure you can try out for the team but remember you'll be competing with some of the best players on the Chinese National Team.
Although there was not much new information, it was encouraging. He did not come across very arrogant or used "slick" hyping terms.

However, I am concerned about all that he currently has on his plate with TNRG and all his other business interests. I would like him to address this issue...
