Well if I may offer an opinion, it looks like ledger1 and ledger2 are normal check journal entries all sloppiness aside, but then ledger 3 references some of the expense categories, but associates no check number with its entries. It also whittles the 79,000 down quite effectively and in quite a confusing way scattered as it is. This may not just be sloppy bookkeeping the way I look at it, given that it may well have been to someone's benefit to muddle the money trail.

As a side note, I was wondering where the $100,100 came from as of #1888. It is not like the company actually was earning money. So whose additional paid in capital was it? Or did this represent the sale of "treasury shares"? Finding out whose check that was, might be interesting as well. Maybe it was Jack's to begin with. But maybe he got that from an unregistered sale of shares that was put in the MTEI bank account.

One delicious thought is that maybe the rest of the register before #1888 is for all of the SMRY/LUMA/RICI/ICVI years. I would love to read that ledger side by side with the old threads. See what Don/John Christensen was up to before Jack got his hands on the check book.

MoneyBaggs... you've done some nice work here.

You can't be the guy who slammed me all over the CITI thread because I questioned the MTEI operation... can you?
