Anybody noticed the quiet uptick in the Russian stock market?? The RTS index is already up something like 80% from the bottom. LUKOY and ROS have doubled from their lows. Volume picked up at least briefly last week. Russia's economy could be stabilizing. A few clues are higher central bank reserves and lower than expected inflation. The ruble rate seems to be firmly controlled by the central bank right now. Anybody think this is a buying opportunity ??
