Parallel Port Devices Like Iomega and Syquest products are also listed as SCSI as well. I beleive the reason is that the easiest way to to hook to the files system is to write a SCSI miniport driver. The SCSI miniports drivers are pretty thin as usually less than 10K. Regardless, its certainlly shouldn't be presented in that fashion. The other great user annoyance for new NT users is that device drivers (of all sorts) are added through the multimedia icon in control panel.
