Hey nephew!, The comfort with the executioner is knowing you are getting executions as fast as is possible. You are a market maker. I frequently sell to retail investors at the ask or bid for shares. My order usually shows up on L2 screens as "ARCHIP" or "ISLD". The executioner does allow you to reach 4:1 margin as long as you closed out the prior day flat. It is complicated and must be understood in advance. I still don't get it fully. One late execution with any broker will cost you enough to pay for the "X". Remember, as an MM you have only mental stops on NASD stocks and only day orders (no GTC). Details at their site... Rashid
