Acually, the way I understood the comments regarding NVIDIA re-announcing oem deals was that being a public company, TDFX can only announce these 'deals' when the first sale of merchandise to the oem is completed. In other words, they implied that NVIDIA can be a bit more liberal in releasing statements of sales, and if the deal falls thru it wont be an issue of did they lie to shareholders? shouldnt they have waited until the sale was complete?

They also stressed the importance of promises that cant be delivered. Gotta admitt, in the performance realm TDFX is the only player who actually lives up to the hype. TNT is a great product, but nothing at all like it was hyped to be.

as far as future products, they really didnt play a bait game.. I think thats what really impressed me was it was very simple. Banshee banshee banshee, and a big uptick in sales of v-2 products with price reductions, and holiday buying.

oh.. someone made a mention about SUNW missing numbers before. Funny, but they sent out the first reuters story with an inccorect quote saying 1 cent below estimates.. It was quickly cleared up with a restatement saying 1 cent above..

FYI, Nvidia did $80M this quarter while TDFX did around $33M

I should have shorted this puppy when I saw their large inventory back in Jun, and instead I bought at 22.5!!!
