Howdy Dowdy, so glad you decided to stop and share what ORCTF told YOU when you asked them the hard ball questions. Now why would you want to withhold such important facts when you know it would produce stars in your heavenly crown to save us all from a fate worse than stock price appreciation? Now this answer should be good, ... Waiting... with baited breath...

John, here is the progress for price reductions for their ADSL product. Phase 1 is complete...they switched to a plastic casing which reduces the cost by $100 per link. Phase 2 should be done in 1Q99 with the new ADSL chipset..this should save $160 per link. These actions will bring gross margins back up into the 30% range. Also, they started selling HDSL products to an unnamed customer in South America. Very small revenue contribution right now but it could get bigger. Their HDSL2 product will be ready in 1Q99 (i think) and they will target US Telcos for this product. ADSL links for Q4 - GTE 20000, DT 2000, Telia 2-3000. In 99 they will ship 200,000 links to GTE alone. Management is confident they will hit analyst EPS/Rev targets in '99 without any new orders. Patience is needed w/ this thing...I've held over a year now waiting on these guys. Maybe I'm a stooge but I believe they will do ok in '99.
