Rashid, What a day, when Greenspan speaks, markets move! The big question in this unprecedented move is not which direction, but how far. Surely, he breathed fire on the shorts today and it is truly unprecedented. I watch the announcements on when he will open his mouth, but this was unannounced. I think that it will not change much in the longer term, but it could. We closed above the downward trendline in the S&P 500 today and if we break above 1100( a fraction more), we could look at a retest of the recent high. My thought, and you must understand that it is from a most disreputable source is that he cannot change the big clock in the sky with his little fix. We have these little brown things floating to our shore from asia, and they create a rather repulsive odor for our economy in the near future. We cannot sell apples and lumber to Japan until their economy changes, and forget about high priced Tuna! We cannot sell cars and all that stuff that we never sold either! Well, I am off on a tangent here, and will stop!! Long or short, Watch your Stuff! JR
