BB: I hear you on deflation. So far, so good. I am betting on Greenspan. Soft landing is what I expect and that is exactly what you got from the good Doctor in 1994. I like a guy with experience and a good track record. Anyone can box with ghosts. If you want a perfect world to invest in, then you will be always waiting patiently and paying a higher price if you buy at all.

You are definitely not a student of the Federal Reserve. The money supply, off the top of my head, has been growing for 6% plus, as measured by M3, for the past couple of years at the minimum. Deflation is not a threat under these conditions. Deflation does not occur with an expanding money supply. That is the way it is.
