Which is why I allowed a price tag of $80~$100 for the TNT instead of the more realistic $55 number. If all the sales had come from TNT@55, then nVidia would have had to sell 1,455,000 units! I'd be impressed if they even sold a third of that.

Thanks for the accounting analysis. Do keep us informed after you talk to 3Dfx. Also, if you do talk to them, ask them about the appearant disparity of assuming that no V2 chips will be built again (hence the inventory right down) and that they expect to have a great 4Q and early '99 (I'm assuming they will not be shipping the "V3" until Q3 '99). The inventory write down was for about 450,000 units, which I can't see a reason why it cannot be sold within the next two quarters (or even just Q4).
