I'm wondering whether to buy puts on the Aussie Index (All Ords) today. We just seem to have touched the neckline on the SPX yesterday and then fell off slightly at the close. Do you think that trend will continue or is this a successful test?

There are 116 new messages on this list since yesterday!

Bill, Fridays are usually strong up days in Bear markets. The usual line is that shorts cover on Fridays since they don't want to hold over the weekend. Today may have wiped out all the shorts and tomorrow may be down?

Would think momentum is on the side of the bulls...but everything just became a lot more expensive.

Bill,

I think it was just a touch overdone to the upside yesterday. If we don't fall back some today, I'll eat my hat.
